HOW TO PLAY SPEDOH!

OBJECT OF THE GAME: To score more points than everyone else.

HOW TO SCORE POINTS: There are six rows, six columns and two diagonals. Points are earned by placing six (6) sequential numbers, smallest to largest, from left to right (rows), top to bottom (columns) and diagonally (top corners to bottom corners).

SCORING

  1. One Row in sequence = 1000 points
  2. One Column in sequence = 1000 points
  3. One Diagonal in sequence = 2000 points
  4. One Row + One Column in sequence = 4000 points
  5. One Row + One Column + One Diagonal = 12000 points
  6. Time Bonus = 1 point per remaining seconds at end of play

TIMED GAME: SPEDOH! is a timed game ("Speed" is in our name). The faster you complete the game, the more time bonus points you receive.

START GAME: To start the game. Touch or click the Start Game Button. Touching any of the Game Board Squares prior to touching the start button will result in an error.

GAME PLAY:

  1. Upon clicking the start game button, your first number will appear at the toop of the game board. You must play the number in any open square on the board.
  2. Once played, a new number will appear in the place of the previous number. Play the second number on any open square.
  3. If you play six numbers in a sequenced row, column or diagonal, the squares will turn green and you will earn your points for that row, column or diagonal.
  4. If you play six numbers out of sequence in a row, column or diagonal, the squares will turn yellow and you will not earn your points for that row, column or diagonal.
  5. Repeat - play each new number until all numbers have been played. There are 36 random numbers between 0 and 100 per game (not including 0 or 100, so 1-99).
  6. NOTE: Think about strategies to get around the random numbers and best places to set your lower and higher numbers. Fill in the gaps and the edges as the game progresses.

WIN THE DAY!: Each SPEDOH! game is an attempt to score more points than the current leader and Win the Day. However, having the highest score at two in the afternoon does not guarantee victory at the end of the day.

WIN THE WEEK: The highest average score at the end of the week, wins the week. So don't throw out those good scores just because you didn't win the day!
